Jack is quite the complicated character: is she the 'Psychotic Biotic':

the meanest bundle of rage and hate ever (to paraphrase Warden Kuril)? Or is she the vulnerable woman who adopts abandoned varren and showers them with love and attention? The answer, of course, is both. And one thing the Mass Effect series definitely emphasized was that with time and experience, people can grow.

I have to say, Jack is just beautiful. For all the crap I give Bioware about giving Liara all the good camera angles, other than a few hair texture glitches I did far less enhancing on this image than I do on most of my character pieces - not because I didn't want to, but because I didn't have to.

Any similarity between the pose in this image and that of Miranda's piece is purely coincidental and not a statement on the two characters.
