Reckoning by GSJennsen Reckoning by GSJennsen
The final companion art piece to "If It Meant Living - Chapter 67: "Reckoning"":[link]

The entire sequence in the Illusive Man's lair is perfectly choreographed and shot. I have so many amazing screenshots of this scene.

Honestly, I suspect it was the last level Bioware had the time to really refine and hone until it was perfect. I would have preferred that they pay that attention to the end instead, but I can't deny the beauty they created here.

Actually, I capture TONS of moments. I am constantly hitting the (FRAPS) screenshot key, as well as vid-capturing critical scenes to later go through and get screen captures. Usually, somewhere in all those shots is that perfect moment - I just have to find it!

i've always been curious about the star this station orbits, ive noticed that in ME2, the star seems to change colour depending on your paragon/renegade stats. do we know if its the actual star or the filter TIM uses?

I think this is an instance where the game simply breaks from its cannon for visual effect. It's fairly well established in the lore that TIM moves his base after an operative visits him (presumably the troops there stay there permanently) - so after Miranda at the beginning of ME2 and after Kai Leng during the Mars mission in ME3, at a bare minimum (and probably a lot more). The star definitely changes color in ME2 based on your paragon/renegade leanings, but I think that is purely visual fluff.

The star that Cerberus HQ orbits when you attack shows up as white on the galaxy map, but is an "MLA red supergiant", which should at least be red tinted. And obviously, the scene this screencap came from, it is swirling all colors - which I can only assume is visual fluff.

All that was probably way more technical than you were looking for, lol - I had to look into it a little for "If It Meant Living." Personally, I'm okay with the visual fluff in ME2 and ME3, I think it adds to the drama and impact.
